Ready-made trousers fit a waist and hope for the rest. Ours are drafted from your waist and the way you stand: pleated, on side adjusters, worn without a belt. Rise, drape and break are decided with you, then kept on your pattern.

Aftercare
We press, adjust and repair the garments we make. When we take your measure, a piece that does not fit as agreed is altered or remade at our cost within thirty days of delivery.

Asked before a first trousers
Pleats or flat front?
Your build and your rise decide, not fashion. Pleats suit a higher rise; a flat front wants a cleaner drop. We will show you both.
Turn-ups or plain hems?
Turn-ups give weight to flannels and casual cloth; plain hems keep evening and formal trousers clean. Decided cloth by cloth.
How many pairs to begin with?
One, worn, proves the pattern. After that most clients order two or three at a time: one measure, several cloths.
Can you match a jacket I own?
Bring it. We will match the weight and character of the cloth, and tell you plainly if it cannot be matched.
